Create a Business Email Account in cPanel Print

  • 0

If email service is available for the hosting account, use cPanel's Email Accounts area to create and manage domain-based mailboxes.

  1. Confirm the domain's MX and related DNS records point to the intended email provider.
  2. Create the mailbox with a unique strong password and an appropriate storage limit.
  3. Use the device-configuration details shown by cPanel for IMAP, SMTP, ports, and encryption.
  4. Send inbound and outbound test messages using an external mailbox.
  5. Configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records according to the active email provider.

Do not change MX records until the destination mailboxes exist. Keep the old provider available during a migration and account for forwarding, aliases, shared mailboxes, archived mail, contacts, calendars, and mobile devices.
