Free Starter includes cPanel and a one-click WordPress installer. The exact installer label can vary, but it is commonly available through the application or software section in cPanel.
- Confirm the domain resolves to the hosting service and SSL is available.
- Open cPanel from the service details or welcome email.
- Choose WordPress in the application installer.
- Select HTTPS and the intended domain. Leave the directory empty to install at the domain root.
- Create a unique administrator username and strong password. Do not use
admin. - Review the site title, contact email, update settings, and installation path before submitting.
After installation, sign in through the WordPress administration URL, remove unused themes and plugins, configure backups, and test the public site. WordPress core, themes, plugins, content, and administrator access remain the site owner's responsibility unless a separate managed service says otherwise in writing.
