General Use
You may not use Hostavvy services for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, harmful, or network-disruptive activity. You are responsible for all activity that originates from your account, service, scripts, users, or hosted content.
Prohibited Content and Activity
Prohibited uses include malware, phishing, botnets, credential theft, spam, unauthorized scanning, denial-of-service activity, copyright infringement, child exploitation material, harassment, fraud, illegal marketplaces, and content or activity that violates applicable law.
Email and Messaging
Email must comply with applicable anti-spam laws and provider rules. Bulk or automated mail must use permission-based lists, accurate sender information, working unsubscribe options, and reasonable sending practices. Purchased lists, forged headers, and abusive campaigns are not allowed.
Resource Use
Shared and managed platforms are designed for normal website and application workloads. Activity that harms performance, bypasses limits, mines cryptocurrency, runs public proxies, or degrades other customers may be restricted, suspended, or moved to an appropriate plan.
Security
You must keep applications, plugins, themes, credentials, and scripts reasonably secure. Compromised accounts may be isolated, suspended, or cleaned to protect the platform and other customers.
Enforcement
We may investigate reports, remove or disable content, rate-limit traffic, suspend services, terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. We aim to provide notice when practical, but urgent security or legal issues may require immediate action.
